The problem I see here is that they aren’t taking a new hire’s perspective towards new content--they are making assumptions that the new hire understands tasks and expectations based on what they themselves already know. This can be especially problematic when reviewing skills and can lead to confrontational questions such as “How did you not know ____?”.
